# Controlling block display order on phone

Using Concrete version 9.4.3 (database version 20250227155410) with the Pixel 9 theme, we would like to control the display order of blocks when page is displayed on phone.

Our choir has concert pages built using two-column layouts. The wide left column displays concert information. The much narrower right column displays venue and ticket information.

When displayed on a desktop, everything lays out as we would like. However, when the page is displayed on a phone or device with a narrower width, the column 1 blocks are displayed followed below by column 2 blocks, which is apparently the expected result. Unfortunately, when that happens, column 2 venue and ticket/buy ticket info displays at the very bottom of the page.

On the phone, we would like the column 2 blocks containing the venue and ticket info to display first, followed by the the blocks from column 1.

I am reading that Bootstrap (or Bedrock in Concrete) can be used to specify display order for the blocks when they can’t be displayed normally. I have pored over various web posts, but would appreciate some guidance for the simplest way in Concrete to set that up.

have you tried ‘flex order’ with CSS?
