# Differences of installation methods

Hello

I am using ConcreteCMS 9.3.9 on a budget hosting with Litespeed server and cPanel.  
The installation of ConcreteCMS 9.3.9 on web hosting with cPanel via Softaculous Installer is very practical and ideal for testing.  
According to the ConcreteCMS documentation, installation via composer or as Download/WebInstall is intended, both would be possible plus the Softaculous way.

Which way do you recommend, what interests me the most, especially what are the advantages and disadvantages of these installation methods?

Whatever works for you and your hosting. I would generally advise against composer install unless you are a developer familiar with it.

I upload the contents of the zip at first install and the concrete folder on upgrade.  
Even share (by symlink) the concrete folder along some low traffic sites.  
Works for me 🙂
