# No response to support request?

If you make a support request for a marketplace addon or theme, you won’t get a response unless you enable private messages in your profile. **If you don’t have private messages enabled, the developer cannot send you a response.**

To enable private messages, go to your **My Account** page at [https://community.concretecms.com/account/welcome](https://community.concretecms.com/account/welcome)  
Click the blue rounded button to **Edit Profile**

Check the boxes and click the blue rounded **Save Changes** button.

Still haven’t got first option on edit profile page: ‘I would like to receive private messages’.

The opt in / opt out of private messages attribute has been removed, so now users should all be able to get PM’s now. 👍
