404 error after login

C5.8.x.x
I have been successfully logged in to my site and made changes and updates.
The next time I logged in I get a 404 error (/login/authenticate/concrete not found). Any solutions to resolves this please? I notice I don’t have an htaccess file in the root.

What changes did you make? It sounds like you may have changed the view permissions on a dashboard page or something. Logging in as the admin user should probably work though.

Just got this on version 9 after making my site “production.” Did you find a way back in? I can’t even log in with the Admin user.

Does adding “index.php” into your requests work better? Sounds like something that might happen after activating Pretty URLs but the configuration not actually saving on the webserver side.

It did occur after I turned on pretty URLs and caching. Even adding “index.php” wouldn’t get me in. I was able to get it to work by copying the content of the htaccess file from another site that was on the same version of Concrete.
