"Approve Message" for Conversation Block not working

I am using v 9.1.3 and have several conversation blocks on the site. I have the setting that the Admin Approves Messages, however, this seems to be by-passed because they are going straight through to all subscribers email without any “approval” first.

I also noticed that when I set the conversation to only allow certain people to “add message”, the “Subscribe” button disappears so the reader without that permission can not subscribe to the conversation- does that mean that they can’t receive notifications by email either ??

Yeah I can recreate that. It looks like this is where you’d go to manage the approvals:
/index.php/dashboard/conversations/messages

But they seem to auto-approve. I would recommend making an issue for that since that definitely doesn’t seem to be what the Approve Message permission implies:
