Automatic Login after Email Verification

Is there a way to have a new user automatically be logged in after clicking the email verification link?

I could be wrong but right now it looks like a new user completes the registration form, receives an email, clicks on link in email, clicks on ok (or whatever) on the email verification success page, then click login and log in.

I think there is an addon called ‘Auto Login’ that might suit your purpose.

Thanks for the response. I think the two that are in the marketplace both require you to add the IPs in manually. Which is not an option.

There has to be some way to add login info/parameters to the link in the address verification email that is sent out… no?

No I don’t think so, for security reasons I doubt that having the login username and password to be included in an email would be a good idea.
