Backtick rendered very badly when writing forum messages

When we want to insert a piece of code in a forum message, we can use three backticks.

But it’s very hard to write them.

For example, below I write three backticks, followed by CSS, a new line, some text, and another line with three backticks.

As you can see, only 1 backtick is visible, and editing becomes very ugly.

Ah, that’s why. Interesting. So fixing the font face should resolve this problem.

Code should be a monospaced font, non-serif…

Any chance this can be fixed?
I just battled an issue writing a post because of this.
