Just wanted to let everyone know that Concrete 8.5.8 is now available. This is a maintenance release for the 8.5.x branch of Concrete. If you’re running that version and aren’t quite ready to update to 9.1.1, 8.5.8 is recommended for some bug fixes and security improvements.

I don’t know if this is a good thread to report a possible bug, but here it goes.
After updating a local dev instance (XAMPP) from 8.5.7 to 8.5.8, file uploads no longer work.
I attached some screenshots.
In 8.5.7 uploads were ok.

Thanks for the quick response @cristi78 – our colleagues at Softaculous also reported something similar. I believe I have a fix checked in - it’s the same fix that’s already made it’s way into the 9.x branch:
If you’re comfortable editing the source you can apply this fix manually to your site to get things working better again - otherwise I should be releasing 8.5.9 by tomorrow to resolve this issue.
I have posted Concrete CMS 8.5.9 to fix the file upload issue. It is available for download and should become available in Composer at some point today.
