I have a site on 9.3.9 greywillpower.com, using Atomik theme, with content removed. I am a newbie. So I made a mistake adding some javascript and html to a page and I was being blocked from loading the page. I was able to go to Sitemap, Page Search, and choose a version from last week. As an internet user I access the page from a week ago successfully. But if I log in as admin and attempt to edit the page, the mistake in the old unapproved now version launches and blocks me from the page. How can I go behind the scenes, find and at least comment out the bad code without doing it through the normal page editor.
The Admin is always shown the most recent version of the page even if that’s not the ‘approved’ version. You’ll need to delete the page version(s) that don’t work back until the one that works. The best way is to go to Dashboard → Sitemap and click on the broken page and choose ‘Versions’. Then there are 3 dots where you can Delete the versions you don’t want.
