I have concrete 9.3.8 with php 7.4.33.
Is there any way to restrict a user to only part of a page ie no access to global parts ?

Yes, take a look at the advance permissions in the documentation. You can set user access on each block or area

Great response again Tim,
but what a bag of worms I’ve descended into. Being able to give permissions or take away on blocks is really good and gives another string to my bow.
