Express entries permissions

Hi,

I use Concrete5 8.4.4
I try to allow a non-admin group of users to create Express object entries. I found how to allow this group to see only Express menu in the dashboard. But the user belonging to this group can’t create a new record or edit an existing one.
How can I allow the user’s group to add/edit Express object entries ?
Thanks for your help

@swissmovie Hello - just curious if you figured out how to do this. We have built Express entities that we will need to give full access (add, edit, delete etc.) for non-admin users. You also mentioned that you were able to allow a group to see only the Express menu item in the dashboard, but I am not seeing how to enable that yet. We are running Concrete 9.2.4 and have Advanced permissions enabled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Please check that the user group has the necessary permissions enabled for creating and editing entries within the express objects setting or through the permission tab in the dashboard.

I cannot find a permission tab for anything associated with Express objects. Can you please point to where to find them?

Hello all,

I came across this post a bit late, but for anyone trying to edit permissions for Express objects, this is the process:

Sign in as an admin.

Open the Dashboard Sidebar and click System & Settings.

Click Express, then in the sidebar click Custom Entry Locations (it appears as a sub menu option under Express).

You will see a tree of all Express Objects, under the parent Entries. To edit all children, click the Entries item and choose Edit Permissions. To edit individual Express objects, click the item you would like to edit, and after choosing Edit Permissions, choose Override Parent Permissions.
