Currently, there is no functionality to save a marketplace item description for a delayed “Submit for Approval” action. It would be nice to have such a feature.
There is a ‘Postpone for 7 days’ option:
That’s not quite what you’re asking for, but I believe it’s a flag to tell the PRB to hold off with further review for a week.

With the new marketplace coming, we may not see any updates to the old. In the mean time, in addition to @mesuva suggestion, simply drop us a message after submittal and let us know you’re still working out docs pages or whatever it may be.
