Font Awesome icon in page attribute

I’ve read somewhere a tips to have the font awesome icon choice in page attribute, but impossible to found it.
is someone have an idea how to do that ?

the link is broken because it needs a period (.) at the end of it ‘an-custom-attribute.’

@jessicadunbar looks like it places the click counter inside the period.
