Forced to update after purchasing an addon?

Hey there,
I just purchased an addon (pending pages), which is compatible with 5.7.13. But the site is not connected to the community any longer until I make an update to 5.8.

So I cannot activate / use the addon.

Is there a way to get it run without updating to 5.8?

@MathiasB You can manually download the package, unzip it and upload it into the packages folder. Then run the install…

Hi enlil,
thank you. I just had to dispatch the package from the project to download it. Now it works.

But nevertheless it is not possible to connect 5.7.5.13 sites with the community any longer. And all my attempts to update to 8 failed. :frowning:
