Responsibilities
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designer to turn their vision into custom themes for concrete5 / Concrete CMS platform.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in frontend technologies and techniques.
• Debug content management system, web hosting and development errors for new and existing clients.
• Follow the latest advancements in frontend technologies and techniques and continue to strengthen current knowledge base.
• Recommend improvements to current development workflow.
• Present deliverables to clients as needed.
Requirements
• Passion for web development and learning new coding techniques.
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript ES6.
• In depth knowledge of Gulp, Webpack, Node.js and NPM.
• Basic understanding of PHP programing language. (If you’re a PHP pro we MUST talk)
• Familiarity with PHP local development environments like MAMP, Laragon and Docker.
• Knowledge of GIT, Github, Bitbucket and how they fit into a modern web development workflow.
• Basic understanding of content management systems such as concrete5/Concrete CMS, Wordpress and Drupal.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD and Invision Studio.
• Experience with community communication tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar, MS Outlook).
• Excellent email and instant messaging communication skills.
• Show us a few dope websites and or application where you are the main developer.
• Plus: Advanced understanding of Concrete CMS custom theme and add-on development. (You have this skillset we might hire you on the spot)
