HELP - sitewide setting password protected

Problem with permissions for site. Access to site is currently password protected. I can see the home page access is set to administrator for ‘view’ which it shouldn’t be.

Message says that the concrete5 site does not use the simple permissions model. Must change your permissions for each specific page and content area.

If I try to edit the permissions for the page though, it just spins and nothing changes.

Using 8.5.12 . and php 5.2.1

Ideas?

Hi @popery1electromer2sp - you should be able to change the view permission on the home page to “guest” and that should cascade down to the all the subpages.

You might try doing it through the sitemap if you’re running into issues on the page itself.

Otherwise you also might go to “logs” in the intelligent search to see if there are any errors there.
