I'm getting really frustrated with ConcreteCMS related issues

I recently launched a small website using the Framework theme, by C5Box, and I’ve used this theme for a few websites and really like it. I recently went to make some simple edits to the site, and discovered the home-page slider was broken. I hadn’t changed anything so, it appears it may be related to some changes my hosting provider made to the server recently, but I can’t discover what. No response from C5Box in trying to reach out to them for support. Finally, I searched for a replacement slider with similar features and found Zen Swiper. I purchased that and then when I clicked download, it just gave me the message, “404 - Page not found”. After wasting a little more time, I discovered there was a bug in that process and was directed to my license list to download. I then downloaded and installed the package via cpanel. I then logged in to my site to install this add-on and when I click on Extend Concrete, I get another exception error - “Cannot declare class Concrete\Package\C5boxFramework\Controller, because the name is already in use”. UGH! Can’t seem to get anything done! And I’m still not to the point of what I originally wanted to change on the site! Sorry for the vent - I’m actually a BIG fan of ConcreteCMS and the team that supports it. I’ve been a member for several years. I wonder if changes are just coming too fast and not enough attention is being given to details to make sure things continue to work as a priority over progress?

Check if the “Concrete\Package\C5boxFramework\Controller” class is not defined twice. For example, if the package is not uploaded to the server twice. If you need help, write to me in private or at the email address dariusz.garus@gmail.com

I too have seen this it has been because there is a 2nd copy of the package in your packages folder - deleting the 2nd package solved this. It only has happened when I needed to do the manual process you described.
