Imported database not linking to new site

I have exported my database from an old site (C5.6.4) and imported for use in my updated site (c5.8.9).

I get no errors on import but no information shows on the pages when viewed.

I have used the same theme structure as the previous old version.

Any ideas please?

A database from v5.6.4 or previous is not compatible with later versions of concrete.

To move to a later version of concrete you will need to rebuild the site on a fresh install. You may be able to reduce the work involved by exporting content and then importing.
