Who is the PRB team and how long does review typically take? I can appreciate it’s out of your hands but I’m asking to help get some realistic perspective and such.

Hi Hissy,
I see that the minimum required version is v9, is there any way this can work with v8.5? There’s things blocking my particular use-case from upgrading to v9 until a while in the future (this year or next year).

Oh another question, specific to the addon/plugin functionality, does it have the capabilities of pulling the User Avatar/Logo/Picture (object attribute) from LDAP/AD and update the equivalent in Concrete CMS with the image data from the authentication domain? (including if it changes in the domain, updating it in Concrete CMS at next-login for the user)
Version 8 is officially outdated, so we don’t have a plan to support it.
Will the plugin work with it though? I seriously have no option here but your plugin and upgrading past v8.5 is completely blocked by a critical plugin we can’t replace for a long while. I need a better solution than what sounds like maybe “doesn’t work”.
Our package is developed for version 9+ and doesn’t work on v8, because it uses “Task” instead of “Automated Job”. Task is a new feature since version 9 to replace the legacy automated job feature.
Is that the only aspect I would need to rip/replace myself?
Also, what about my question regarding pulling the user avatar/picture from the LDAP/AD domain into Concrete CMS?
Currently, it doesn’t have that feature.
