Multilingual language names

Some of the language names provided by the system are with lowercase and others with sentence case. This can be seen when on a multilingual website a default language switcher is placed. For example for Spanish language it display español instead of Español.

And the only way to change this is to edit a vendor file (punic/src/data/…) which has a line saying: // This file is auto-generated. Do not edit!

Is there any other way to correct the issue? Is it not acceptable to have some language names in lowercase and others with sentence case.

Thanks,
Xaba

That sounds like it could be a core issue, so you could create a new issue on GitHub (and then post a link to the GitHub issue here) . That would get fast attention from the multilingual experts who work with the core.

Thanks. I posted the issue on github.
