It was a tough update to do. I am pleased to announce that Omni Gallery is now compatible with concrete v9 while also maintaining compatibility with v8 in the same build.

While there, all vendor assets have been updated to latest releases including a new ‘cards’ animation for the Swiper display option.

With v9.3.0 Omni Gallery introduces an Omni Gallery Light block.

Omni Gallery Light has just two items in the edit dialogue:

  1. Select an Omni Gallery stored setting, which provides all the details for the gallery’
  2. Select a fileset/folder/page/user which adapts the stored setting to use a different set of images.

Create an Omni Gallery, export to Stored Settings, then use Omni Gallery Light to deploy the same gallery to many pages with instance specific images.

The use cases are:

  • Sites with many identically formatted galleries or sliders.

  • Agencies or site admins deploying galleries to less capable site editors or needing to lock down the options.

The last few updates to Omni Gallery have also brought third party scripts up-to-date, provided more design options, introduced new display widgets such as Big Scroll and Cycle2, and integrated with Form Reform Image Picker.
