We are trying to figure out how we can display a Page List block and filter it down to any stories that have a value for a Topic.
We have a Topic Tree (Technology) that has 4 Topics in it, we would like to show pages that have ANY of those 4 topics selected. It seems logical that checking the box next to “Categories” would do this, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.
in my experience, that’s the only place where there’s a checkbox next to a “folder”, and yes, it seems to do nothing. As for alleviating and making things work better like you describe, there are github issues open on this matter…
Create a category called Technology in the topic tree, then put those topics under the Technology category. Reapply the topic attributes to the respective pages now that the hierarchy has been modified. Now if you select the Technology category in the Page List filter, it will show any pages that have at least one of the containing topics set against them.
