Great to be able to copy and paste images from eg MS Word directly into Content Block (ckeditor) and these be uploaded to the File Manager (C5.8.17, php7.4) but they upload as quite chunky (file size) pngs - is there a way to change this? say to jpg and / or more optimised file sizes?
Hi @xigo - you might try updating to the latest version (9.3.4 presently).
That said, there is this dashboard page that allows you to control the default compression of images - you might be able to dial down the png compression but I’m not sure if there’s a way to make it create a different file type altogether:
/index.php/dashboard/system/files/image_uploading
