PHP version

what version of php to use with concrete 9?
I´ve current installed php 7.4 and the first page is blank. If update php to 8.0 or 8.1 or 8.2 give error page.
Thank you for anyone can help me. I´m a new, new user

Use PHP8.1 for Concrete version 9.

The error page you’re hitting might not be PHP related as such.
Best to post a screenshot of any errors you hit.

I´ve installed 9.2.0 , 8.5.12 and 5.6.4.0 the versions and test wich one with php 7.2 /7.3./7.4/8.0/8.1/8.2

In version 5 I was able to see the page of the chosen template but when I use the top menu “to my website” I get a 404 error
In a test it gives the error 404 in that menu, in another installation the error 404 in another menu. In installation 9 with php 7.4 there is no error but I don’t see the theme to start editing is blank. I only see top and side menu. With php 8.1-2-3 it doesn’t even open the site admin / dashboard giving 404 on the site.

Now I do a clean install version 9 and use the 8.1. php version as you tell. I attache some screenshots of this the first page. As you see the design is empty don´t appear the base template.

Maybe the installatation not populate with data, include template,

could be some missing php extension or not having cleared the browser’s cash between tests and there was a conflict, but I still couldn’t open the installation properly.

Thanks for any recommendations.
I can´t send fotos in reply only in new post. I send printscreen link:

Perhaps the database was not populated with data from the template during installation.

It’s a bit hard to work out what is going wrong with your 404 errors.

But looking at your screenshot, it just looks like the example data wasn’t installed when it was set up. In other words, it was installed with the ‘blank’ setting.

I also had that conviction but I was looking at the themas folder and the Atomik folder has a lot of files. I will download from the Concrete site and copy and update the themes folder on the server. Also happend with elemental themes maybe other thing. I have deleate the personalized page error and you can see in … /assets/conc/index.php the login in admin / password

The initially loaded content isn’t stored in any folder - content is loaded in and stored in the database. The theme folders are going to be the same file wise after installation, regardless of the options selected.

Are you trying this out locally, or on something like cPanel?

Have you tried setting your Canonical URL? I don’t think a valid URL path is being added to the content.

It is true.
I had not configured the canonical url. When I did, I got another error. I finally figured it out: as I installed it via Softaculous there’s a box that says “install simple data” that I had left unchecked. I redid the installation and now I can access Concrete CMS. Sounds like a pretty good script, I’m going to join the club.
Thank you all for your help and encouragement, it gives me some confidence for the future, and I saw the Concrete CMS have a paid support in these and other circunmtances it will be useful.
