Is there any information on concrete5 version compatibility with php versions, especially php8? The Systems Requirement page in the developer documentation doesn’t mention php version 8 (it’s from 2014…).
From keeping an eye on github, my understanding is:
Version 8 of Concrete is not currently compatible with PHP8, but it should work great on PHP7.4. There’s a chance that future minor versions of version 8 may add PHP8 compatibility, but there’s quite a lot of libraries that Concrete uses where that might be tricky - so I wouldn’t count on that.
The upcoming Version 9 of Concrete is either PHP8 compatible now, or will be very soon.
