Previous/Next links for Express object display

I have designed an Express object to manage news items and have implemented custom list and detail templates. I want to add Previous/Next links to the detail display. I feel sure this must be simple but I cannot find how to do it. What am I missing?

Does that give you some ideas?

Thanks very much for your reply. I guess it might give me ideas but I was hoping for a solution which didn’t require me to write code. I don’t mind writing code but I want to pass this site on to someone who is not a coder and I don’t want to leave them with a maintenance problem.

What I want to do is pretty standard and I’m surprised that it is not a standard feature. I’m starting to conclude that Concrete is not a good choice for me.
