I was wondering what is needed that emails sent with ConcreteCMS (SMTP) will not appear as “unverified sender”.
I know there is something needed in the DNS settings but what?

You would need to get this information from the tech support for your host.
yeah, mhawke is right. This is unrelated to Concrete; it’s an issue with how your web server is set up. Look into setting up DKIM and SPF records.
