Sitemap not loading after moving to another server

Hi,
After moving my site to another server, I can not see the sitemap anymore. When I try to load the sitemap I get this error:

Load error! (SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0)

Clearly something is wrong, but I can not see how I can solve this.

Using 8.1.0 (i know… I should update, but first I need to update some custom addons!)
