Upload now works.

The scaling of the banner image is a bit awkward. As the screen narrows, the images are scaled horizontally, but not vertically. So a banner that works on a wide screen looks squashed horizontally on a narrower screen.

It would be better to cover/crop about the center of the banner image.

Also of note is that banner images are plain img tags. This is an ideal use for picture tags with srcsets and a sequence of thumbnail sizes.
