Cannot login using email address and password after the upgrade to v9.4.7 failed and I reset the update.php path to the prior version 9.1.3. The site works, however the login does not. I generated a new password with another site currently running v9.4.7 and replaced my password in the database, still cannot login. Please help!
Ticket Update: I have installed v9.4.7 successfully. I had to issue DB create table commands interactively and change field collations/character sets on oauth tables to complete the install. I still cannot login. This is urgent. Please help.
Another update: forgot password displays “Email must be a valid email address” when submitted. EMail address works in prior version and still exists in the user table.
SOLVED - site change from “email address” to “user name”. Logged in with user name, changed “login & registration” back to email address.
